On my other blog, I wrote a sentence that I thought perfectly summed up my feelings right now. I wrote, “I plan to revel in the fact that I can look back on 2006 without regrets and that I can welcome 2007 without fear.”

What Did I do in 2006?
This year has been full of firsts and good things. I really didn’t know much about blogging until this year. Oh, I knew it was the latest craze, but I didn’t understand the ins and outs. So, when I decided to apply for a position on this site as a blogger, I was really coming in blind. All I can say is that I wouldn’t have missed a minute of it (not even the nights where I was staring blankly at the computer with no words running through my head).
I’ve become much more involved with things this year…thanks to my son. I’ve been running from one event to the next, but it’s worth it. My son is like a sponge and he’s been soaking up every bit of information I can provide to him.

I think that this is one of the first years that I haven’t complained about how fast time has gone by. Oh, it has. I can’t believe that it’s the end of the year, but I know that I have so much to look forward to. I really think that having a child (especially a toddler child) puts a new spin on how you see the world.
This next year will be a time of discovery and learning experiences. I plan to write and write and write.
Look out 2007. Here we come.
