When I sat down to write this post, I realized that this is the last day of September. Tomorrow is October! I can’t believe how fast time seems to be moving lately. I have to think about Halloween (I don’t have a costume for my son yet.), his birthday and (gasp) Christmas.
So considering that my mind was spinning from the realization that it almost October, I decided to share what other people are writing and give myself a chance to catch up.
1.
Haircare: I read this on the Ethiopia Adoption Blog and it isn’t specifically related to Korean adoption. Actually, not even close, but it illustrates a really important thing that crosses all adoptions. While “love” is an incredibly important part of adopting, there is more to making a happy family. Owlhaven takes the time to really learn about her girls – inside and out.

Weight Challenge: Over on the Older Parent Adoption Blog it looks like there is a weight challenge going on and anybody is welcome to participate. I’ve found that losing weight is way more fun in a group – so why not an online group. Remember, some of the Korean agencies have weight restrictions for adoption and losing weight (and keeping it off) is just a good idea in general.
I’m off to watch football, or more precisely, I’m off to watch my husband watch football. I will sit in the same room as the noisy box with my book and a note pad. The note pad is just in case something inspires me to write a new post that will wow everyone with my brilliance. Or, something like that.
