On September 16th, I posted an article from the Australian newspaper about a temporary suspension of Korean inter-country adoption. I’m seriously beginning to wonder if this isn’t an Australian issue only because I can’t find it anywhere else. I’ve searched and searched. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
1. Here’s a funny one from Korea. It seems that China is watching Korean soap operas and finding some pretty “weird” things about Korean customs. My favorite on the list is “Korean women often resort to hair-pulling when fighting.” I love it. It lends truth to Koreans being the Irish of the Orient doesn’t it.

2. I remember this one when it hit the U.S. news. As a science fiction fan, this one puts goose bumps on my goose bumps. I love the advances in technology because I think it will lead to great things, but I’ve read one to me “the Androids take over the world” book to be extraordinarily comfortable. Then again, I’m a huge Data (from Star Trek) fan.

Occasionally, I like to read news from the point of view of another country. It was the same when I read a history of the American Revolution by a British author. How fascinating when two groups can see the same event and come up with such different opinions.
