My son was born in Nonsan City. When we received our referral, one of the first things I did was search for information and I immediately found the city website. Have I mentioned how much I love the internet? It is unbelievable how many things you can find and learn about. I imagine that we will be traveling there one day.
Some of the things to see in Nonsan City:
1. Gwanchoksa Temple – The largest stone Buddah in Korea
2. Tapjeong Reservoir
3. Mt. Daedun
4. General Gyebaek's Battlefield
SPONSOR
5. Ssanggyesa Temple
6. Gaetaesa Temple
7. Oknyeo Peak and Geum River
8. Noseong Hillfort
I was amused when I read about the Strawberry and Cherry Blossom Festival that takes place in Nonsan City each April. Nonsan City produces 14% of Korean strawberries. I was amused because my son consumes strawberries like they are candy. I’m pretty sure it was one of his first words and he says the word with such joy.
Some of the other products that come from Nonsan City:
• Nonsan apples, pears and grapes
• Aloe longevity drink (This one amuses me.)
• Pumpkin, Jujube, licorice root tea (Shades of Harry Potter)
So, I’m sharing a little bit of my son’s story and reminding you how easy it is to find information on the world-wide web.
